Rolling Green Hills at Dry Creek Regional Park

Posted on December 10, 2018February 25, 2019 by Vanda

Dry Creek Regional Park
1320 Garin Ave, Union City, CA 94587
Restrooms: Yes
Parking at Dry Creek is free but its sister park Garin Regional Park is $6

If you’re a Bay Area local, this is a great spot to do some hiking. This area is part of the East Bay Regional Parks system and easily accessed through Mission Blvd. Green hills in the spring and yellow hills in the summer/fall like most other parks, Dry Creek features a beautiful skyline of the Hayward/Union City area.  The trail I took while I was here was the Dry Creek Trail Loop (3.3 miles).

A nice view of the bay and Hayward, CA
Wildflowers (weeds probably) in the spring time
Lake that joins Dry Creek and Garin Regional Park
Taking in the view
