5551 Giant Hwy, Richmond, CA 94806
Winter months seem to be free
Summer $3 a car, $2 a dog

Point Pinole Regional Shoreline is a beautiful regional park with a fishing pier and rocky beach.  The trail is flat and good for walking any time of the year. There are two access points to start from: Atlas Bridge and Giant Highway.  The Atlas Bridge parking lot has flush toilets and picnic tables while Giant Highway parking lot has vault toilets and no tables.  There’s also a shuttle for those who want to go straight to the pier.  East Bay Regional Park has a trail challenge every year and one of the features hikes of 2020 is the Point Pinole/Cooks Point/Marsh/Owl Alley/China Cove/Pinole Point/Bay View Trails. It is around four miles long and rated easy. This is a very popular trail for people with dogs.
