I stopped at Red Rock Canyon State Park briefly during my Death Valley National Park trip.  There are two trails that are easily accessible from the highway, Red Cliffs Trails and Hagen Trail.  Red Cliffs Trails starts at the Red Cliffs Natural Area, while, Hagen parking is towards the way to the Red Rock Canyon Visitor Center.  From Cantil Drive, there are two parking lots, park at the first one. When you begin the trail, there is a display that points out featured rocks: Camel Rock, Window Rock, and Turk’s Turban. I highly recommend Turk’s Turban which you can just drive to the second parking lot and walk to. The others are not as obvious, but I’ve included the pictures below so you can plan your search in advance. There is no restroom at the start of the Hagen trail but if you mosey on over to the Red Cliffs Trail parking or the visitor center (if open) you’ll find one. There are more trails you can do especially if you have a 4WD, but if you are strapped on time these are sufficient enough.  The Red Cliffs Trail takes you to an overlook, but you can skip that and just walk directly to the red cliffs and take cool pictures with the rocks.
