Best time to go here is August, when the snow melts and the flowers bloom! There are five different areas of the park and the most popular are Sunrise and Paradise.

Beacon Rock State Park
Beacon Rock State Park features a 1.8 mile round trip hike up a huge rock with 52 switchbacks with guard rails all around. As a person with a slight fear of heights, this was not that scary or difficult.
Kerry Park Viewpoint
Kerry Park has the best view of Seattle for free. You see Space Needle, Mt Rainier, and tall buildings in one spot. I highly recommend coming here during sunset if you don’t mind sharing the view.
